Rehearsals and Fetish Show

Mar 27th, 2005

A make-up artist conjured up incredibly brilliant hairstyles and great make-ups for us, the girls of the Marquis show. I got a totally unusual and remarkable hairstyle: kind of a mohawk haircut which perfectly fit to the sexily alien dress! Wow, it looked brilliant!

***BILDL05 I had really a lot of respect for her work and the patience which she had proved that night, because without support and in spite of many "incidents" she made it to transform four girls within a very short time into real divas - with hairstyle and everything. Since after a while she had to interrupt her work due to inconsistent organization, because right at the time, which was meant for make-up and hair only, the dress rehearsals took place in the Mudia Art. So all of us girls had to go for the rehearsal first. Fortunately, I was done already and I was up to jump onto the stage. All the make-up artist still had to do was my hairstyle, yes exactly - the super mohawk, because I had done the make-up myself already and it got assented by her too! :)

Anyhow the dress rehearsal was an incredibly long haul in the Mudia Art, the time seemed to fly and two of us still had to get decorated completely with hairstyles and make-up. So after the dress rehearsal back to the hotel swiftly and the busy makeing up just went on. What would have happened if we wouldn't have our car? Ouh ...

***BILDR06 Up to my performance I now had at least a little time off and I could relax at the hotel, talk a little and then pack up the things for the rest of the night. About 11 pm, the moment we were all styled and wanted to set off with Martin and Bianca to the Mudia, where at the same time the Fetish evolution began, there was a gigantic downpour and it was raining with no end! Ouh!!! :(

However, we made it somehow to arrive half-soaked at the Mudia, where the real odyssey actually began. First of all there were lacks of clarity with the photo passports which were applied actually weeks beforehand already, and because of which Martin was a little bit "annoyed". The second problem was finding the backstage area which wasn't marked unfortunately.

Nobody could tell us where the changing room for marquis was located. And everybody, who knows the Mudia Art, knows that you never ever find certain rooms there simply or virtually just by chance!!! Anyhow, many models walked around quite confused, soaked and loaded in the Mudia. Only as luck would have it we found the backstage area after a certain time and we were "overjoyed" about getting a reproach for the lateness!

I guess quite many models and organizers, who didn't know the Mudia Art, and there were many, were fed up with this.

However, the mood got better again as soon as the shows proceeded one after another finally and the models and manufacturers, in spite of the chaos, mastered the shows confident. So the visitors got an entertaining evening! Well - the show must go on! ;P

***BILDL07 The show for Marquis went very very well by the way! Bianca, Emily, Serphila and me in half-transparent catsuits performed our part well on the stage and the top organized and prepared show for Dark Garden worked perfectly!!! The orange corset of Dark Garden was the ultimate eye-catcher and in the end I didn't want to take it off at all ..., but sadly, I had to give it back then, unfortunately! After the shows were finished, from which there are, fortunately, great pictures, it was high time for us to relaxe and party!!! Finally, I also got to know the Eliz personally - really a sweet girl - and she gave us hints where other hard to find corners are within the Mudia Art, and she was right! There were loads of sweet hidden corners: glazed and totally wicked toilets, iron stairs, coffins and a lot more.... Once again the night passed faster than desired, but stell we had time to gab and chat! :)

The next morning we did not have to check out the hotel all too early, so we could get a good night's sleep and relax comfortably. After the things were packed and we said good bye to many models and friends, we made a short trip to the fair once again. Here and there another quick chat and soon we were sitting in the car again. :)

***BILDR08 The Fetish Evoulution weekend itself was a very successful event. Above all because of the hotel reserved in particular for this event for guests, models and photographers, a nice change and a neat service. For everybody there was enough time and space to talk and to have fun. Finally, we had once more the opportunity and some time with dear people like Martin and Bianca, Emily, Audra, Sandra, Harald and many many more (somehow you must stop this or you end up with a hugh credits list, like in a good film!). Even though there have been organizational problems, especially behind the scene, what the guests didn't notice fortunately, I still have to take my hat off to Sandra and all the work she managed, because she alone had coordinated the organization of the rehearsals, the shows and especially the Marquis show. The week-end had been very entertaining all together, the shows on Sunday were very successful apparently, the audience enjoyed it and the idea of booking a whole hotel for that weekend was absolutely neat.
