German Fetish Fair

On Thursday we went to Berlin, laden with suitcases which were filled primarily with Latex and high heels, that way you are armed for every eventuality. For the upcoming weekend many parties were scheduled and some interesting duties as well. I had been looking forward to it since our departure and with sunshine in our hearts we went to the second German Fetish Ball.

German Fetish Fair

***BILDL01 I had my first little duty on Friday, because I was going to walk for Fetishuniverse at the German Fetish Fair, which is the fair of the German Fetish Ball Event. My fancy bright orange catsuit simply had to be shown to the public properly, didn't it? At least, it had been a real eye-catcher in the dark halls of the Torture Garden party in London, during the RubberBall weekend in 2004.

Having arrived at the fair dressed in my black latex Armory jeans and a cheeky net top, we immediately run into Belgium Marc, who welcomed us beaming with joy. This year the fair was in the Columbia Hall and there were definitely more exhibitors than last year. All the stands were clearly arranged within a huge space and my desire for shopping increased immediately! This time, as well as the traditional and well known latex labels there was also a fair amount of new designers. After a short walk straight through the whole fair, we got to the stand of Savage Wear. Heidi proudly presented me the Icequeen outfit, which she had designed for me and which I was to wear that Sunday at the ball. Oh My God!!! The outfit was fantastic!!! It included a wonderful, beautifully made latex skirt, a heavy halterneck latex corset, and all this in a bright white!!! All over there were small, sweet icicles and "icicle pendants" giving a unique shine to the outfit. Simply a totally amazing latex dress! But of course all the other outfits, which were to be presented on the show on Sunday, looked great as well and had their own unique style too!

By chance, as we were passing the Fetishuniverse stand, they needed me just at that moment for a show that was beginning just a few minutes later. Hmm ... Maybe I should mention that there was a small stage on the fair where various shows were regularly presented to the visitors. Alongside bondage and striptease, Fetish designers like Fetishuniverse could also perform their shows there. I changed quickly into my fancy orange dress and my high heels and I checked my make-up again. The models got brief instructions on the running order of the show and the very next moment it began. We first heard the music for our respective parts during the show and our first rehearsal was the real thing! When it was my turn on the stage, they were playing Kylie Minogue. Fortunately, I knew the song and I just started to dance and before I knew it, the whole thing was over - a pity, actually! It was great fun, at least. Afterwards I started to look around the fair, and it didn't take long at all till I discovered many well-known faces and there was quite a lot to tell and to talk about. Claudia and Oliver from code.net, 3xL, the Bodycult Team, Ancilla, Kumi, Livia Choice, the Torture Garden Team and many many more.... and finally we could meet Tony Mitchell in person! I was totally excited as he stood there in front of me. However, he was so incredibly friendly and nice that I calmed down again, managaing not to talk complete rubbish (hmmm... at least, I hope so! ).

Soon I noticed that I had not seen the model zone and the photographers exhibition at all yet. So I went looking for it. The "art and model zone" was located on the upper floor of the Columbia hall where photographers like Thomas van de Scheck, Lithium Picnic, Martin Pelzer (Abwärts) and other artists presented themselves with their pictures.

I had probably mis-timed going to the model zone, because I didn't see any of them there.

When we had completely explored the fair and had met up with quite a lot of friends again, my stomach started to rumble once more. Petra from dos santos recommended us a top Italian restaurant. So the Bodycult team and Petra, Claudia and Oliver and the two of us used this tip-off and we spent the evening with sparkling wine and tasty pasta. Never in my life had I seen such a big calzone lying on my plate. To give a better picture of it:

It looked like an inflated blowfish but smelled considerably tastier (like a juicy pizza) and tasted just ... mmmmmmmmmm!!!

A really nice evening for the first day in Berlin!
