Rehearsal and the Show at the Ball

Dress Rehearsal
On Sunday at 11:30am, the dress rehearsal took place in the Matrix. However, till it really began, we had to be a little more patient. The stage, which is obviously very important for a rehearsal, wasn't built by then.
By and by the models arrived, who were meant to walk for Savage Wear, and Heidi gave out the fancy outfits. There was a general sleepy mood, because Heidi, after 2 stressful days on the fair, and the models, after the long parties, were visibly tired *grins*.
***BILDL05 So we watched the stage getting build up step by step and chatted. I got completely awake finally after Heidi handed out several big bags to me and said, that all this would belong to my outfit! BOAH!!! I immediately knew what to do - of course putting on everything right away! What a beautiful Ice-Queen costume Heidi made, wasn't obvious to me until I wore it completely. She really put much effort into this outfit, with affection to every detail. I was incredibly happy for being allowed to wear this great and unique dress. Now I could have a look at all the other outfits too. Because I couldn't imagine them just from the clothes rail well enough. Every model was wearing the outfit for that evening and each of them was brilliant, fancy and unique!
Once the stage was done, we could finally start with the rehearsal. Darenzia wasn't there till then, so Audra played her part. The rehearsal was really good, just the final scene wasn't finished yet, because Sonja wanted to create it live and therefore needed to see the final stage. All of us had many creative ideas, which were told to Sonja at the same time. The result was the brilliant idea of giving Heidi a central part, since all these outfits were her creations and we simply had to present that talent to the audience, right? So she was going to be guided onto the stage by Sonja and me, passing all the models, who were lining the way. And then there should be a great applause, hmmm... we even scheduled that, bold as we are!
Lunch with Code
After the dress rehearsal and organizing other important things for the evening, we had to get something to eat. About 3pm Claudia, Oliver, Norman and I were in search of a nice place and found a little Turkish restaurant, or better to say a restaurant with takeaway flair. But that made no odds, since we were talking about all sorts of things and enjoyed telling the different "behind the scene" photo stories. We seemed not to be the only ones, encountering unexpected problem during a shooting. *laughs*
After all of us have had enough to eat, we brought them back to their accommodation and then headed for our own. At half past six I was laying in my bed and immediately fall into a deep and nice sleep. Somehow the last night had been to short and this evening was going to be even more exciting, because in just 4 hours I was meant to be top-fit at the Matrix, walking for Savage Wear on the show and of course partying on the second German Fetish Ball
.
The Ball
***BILDR06 Around 9pm we were back at the Matrix. Refreshed for the night I was looking forward to the moment, when I would wear the Ice-Queen outfit! *smiles* The make-up artist, who made up us models for the show, designed an amazing updo with a silver crown and a gorgeous chilly make-up. I looked incredible, like a girl from another galaxy! Belgium Marc had to do a double take and finally said, that he could still tell from my laugh that it's me. So I probably should be all serious tonight while walking onstage!
Backstage there was much turbulence: giving mirror finish to the latex, powdering, final twirling the hair and some champagne as energy shot. Huhh... again I noticed the butterflies starting to flutter in my stomach. Then René announced, that there were 10 minutes left till the start of the show and Savage Wear would be the first performance. A little later all of us were standing behind the stage and listening to the announcement of Midori, introducing the following shows all at once. Once the music started the show began and I didn't feel the flurry anymore. Everything felt great and the moment, when I as Ice-Queen was standing onstage and the glitter fell on me, it felt like heaven! You don't start into a performance that great very often. At the end, when the light got turned off and I was standing there all by myself and all the eyes of the audience focused on me, I couldn't help it, since I was overly happy, and smiled. So I finally did reveal me as Sway...
***BILDL07 The following shows went very well and everybody was visibly relieved, once they came backstage again. At the end all labels were to be presented together, which ended in a huge onstage crowd of models. Unfortunately this also meant that the shows of the evening were over and, as far as I know, not all guests of the ball were able to enjoy the shows. Either because the main hall of the Matrix with the stage was too small for all people, or because they weren't aware of the shows from the distant rooms. Closing after the show, René thanked all the models and designers for the perfect shows, which was very sweet.
***BILDR08 For the remaining evening I put on my beloved Bodycult outfit, the corsage pants with all the nice accessories. Then it was time to party!!! In the Matrix we then met a lot of friends like Lea and Stefan of Fetish Universe, Heidi and Alex, Aprella, Audra, Tony, René, Sandra, Acilla, 3xL, ... and many more. It was a very nice weekend and I enjoyed walking for Savage Wear... just too bad, that such weekends have to be so short as always.
Trip to the Baltic Sea - Monday, May 15th, 2005
On a wonderful sunny day after the German Fetish Ball, already being on a trip anyway, we toyed with the idea of extending the trip and visiting the Baltic Sea before returning home. After all it would be "just" 3 hours by car and I haven't been there for sooo long, even though I love the smell of the sea so much! And since the urge of "back to the sea" was too strong to be ignored, we couldn't help it and spontaneously drove to the Baltic Sea for a day! Yaayyyy!!!
We spent a night in a sweet, little hotel not far from the beach and the next morning we went for the waves. Ok, at least towards them! Unfortunately the water was way too cold and the wind sough, so that I decided not to go swimming this time.
However, the sun was shining nicely and I was very brave, because we decided to make a photo shooting in the dunes, protected from the wind! Back to the nature at last, with wonderful sunshine and deep blue sky. And then taking some pictures is simply nice and pretty. But decide yourself after seeing them in our gallery!
